I need desperate help at QB. This is my roster.

QB Philip Rivers
RB Priest Holmes
RB Kevin Jones
WR TJ Houshmandzadeh
WR Lee Evans
WR Chris Chambers
TE Antonio Gates
D/ST Packers
K Nick Folk
Bench:
QB J.P Losman
WR Laveraneus Coles
RB Selvin Young
RB Travis Henry
RB Larry Johnson

I am trying to work out a trade with an owner who currently owns Drew Brees and Derek Anderson (We start 1 QB)

His roster looks like this:

QB Drew Brees
RB Marion Barber
RB LenDale White
WR Nate Burleson
WR Donald Driver
WR Torry Holt
TE Vernon Davis
K Jeff Wilkins
D/ST Seahawks
Bench:
QB Derek Anderson
RB Julius Jones
RB Jason Wright
WR Jerricho Cotchery
D/ST Patriots

What would be a fair trade to either get Brees or Anderson? I was thinking along the lines of Laveraneus Coles, Philip Rivers and Kevin Jones for Drew Brees/Derek Anderson and probably Jerricho Cotchery. Is that too much to give up or too little?

Also, this guy is a Saints fan, so getting Brees will be even harder and getting Anderson will be a little easier.

Desperate for a QB? You have bigger issues at RB in my opinion. Try getting a RB from this guy.

Rivers is a good play and it sounds as if you will have to give up way too much for Brees. Anderson had three TD passes in the first half versus Pittsburgh, but looked like the question mark QB that many Browns fans feared in the second half.

If you must deal, I would initially offer only 1-for-1 with the QBs (Rivers for Brees, Losman for Anderson), stressing its starter for starter or bench player for bench player and take it from there. Trade like a real GM and send out small trial balloons to see if you can get what you want at a lesser price.

I wouldn't even bother packaging Rivers, unless it's for McNair or Carr or someone in their class. To get Anderson, you'd probably have to give up one of your starting WRs or Selvin Young. Have you seen Anderson's last 6 games? He's the perfect playoff QB. You can probably get Brees in a 1-for-1 deal with one of your starting WRs, RBs, or TE.

This guy is making an attempt to sell you LT at severe fee. while in fact, LT is low to mid fee authentic now. greater mid than low. His turf toe does not look to get greater beneficial. And it looks like LT does not have the comparable coronary heart like he did previously. Earnest Graham is greater of a sturdy back than LT is in the present day. And he's having relaxing enjoying in Tampa Bay. i admire Drew Brees this season. Leads all QBs in yards exceeded. Doing a monster activity in NO. he's going to interrupt Marino's record for single season passing yards. Brett Favre... hmm... I appreciate him as a legend, yet he's no longer enjoying to win anymore. he's only enjoying to play. replaced into that the comparable Favre that all of us comprehend enjoying against the Raiders this previous week? The Brett Favre of the previous would've trounced everywhere in the Raiders! He particularly had one series that he did nicely and that replaced into to get Feely close adequate to tie the activity up. And it replaced into fifty two yarder! So no... save Brees and Graham and enable the different guy handle his issues. you would be wonderful with what you have. particularly with yardage eaters like Graham, McGahee, and area.
