This is much too lengthy for me to attempt off the top of my head. Instead of asking someone else to google it, why not try it yourself? The questions you ask are at the very foundation of the birth of this country. You might want to find out what it's all about - it's very interesting!

He is not saying it to Great Britain. He is saying it to the world.

"We hold these truths to be self-evident: 1) That all men are created equal. 2) That they are endowed by their creator with certain unalienable rights. 3) That among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. 4) That governments are instituted among men to secure these rights, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed.

You should really read the Declaration of Independence. It's short. It will rock you.
