depends on the offence, cheating, no once and you're out.

No. Every relationship is different. Imposing a regimented system on something innately chaotic is quite foolish in my opinion.
Establish some baseline for the minimum % of time that you must be happy with the relationship and if the relationship makes you happy at a level below this standard, then consider moving on -- whether at 3 strikes or 3 million.

Really depends on what the strikes are. Cheating is only one strike. Leaving the toilet seat up is allowed a few more than three. Lying, not much more than one if dating, depending on the severity of the lie.
It also depends on if you're just dating, or if you're married. (Still cheating is only one strike though!) You have to allow much more than three strikes for just about everything when you're married. But you may need to seek counseling if you're hitting those three strikes every day!

Depends on the strikes. If the strike is forgetting to call you when they get somewhere then No. I would give them many more strikes. If they are lying or going behind your back, I would say 3 strikes is generous.

It depends on what the strike is for. Cheating, one time and you're out. Beating, one time and you're out. Getting stood up, ok I'll forgive you with a good reason.
Just remember this, men don't change into the man you want them to be when you get married. The man that you are dating is the man that you will marry so chose carefully!

What constitutes a "strike" here?
Make three insensitive remarks and you're out? Of course not.
Fool around on me three times and you're out? I doubt I'd give a third chance on that one. (And maybe not even a second.)
Choose to adopt a "relationship method" that uses broad, hare-brained rules that totally ignore context, intentions, and the plausibility of expectations? That's a great way to make for a miserable relationship for both of you.

Hi Miss I used to think the same way you did back when I was your age and after being on this planet for 53 years I still do practice the 70X7 method of forgiveness to any and all people ,not forgiving brings a sense of loss and being without hope to have the issues worked out.Try reading Matthew5:46 for a great answer to your trouble.

If they cheat on you NO! I gave my current g/f the 3 strikes and we are still going on a year. but its good to know what times you should give them a strike and not to.

What do you mean by "strikes"? If it's just 3 mistakes in a relationship, no. If it's 3 times cheating, I think that's too much. Unfortunately, when you're actually in a relationship, it's hard to put such hard-and-fast rules on the relationship, as they might be logical "rules", but your heart and emotions are involved as well...

No. I do not see a relationship as a game.
There are no points earned or lost.
It should be about compromise and understanding
If a partner cannot do that I feel that individual is not
ready to be in a relationship and make someone else happy.
They must commit to another or there is no relationship
Check out this video on this its pretty funny

Depends on the nature of the "strike." If it's physical, then one strike is all anybody ever gets. If it's a question of infidelity, then it's a question of "fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on ME."
Three strikes is at LEAST one too many.
