Is this a good way of writing a book report?

Question

I'm typing a book report for my 9th grade Englis on Outcast the Un-Magician by Christopher Golden
so far i decided i'm going to write about these parts of the book
The title, author, and characters for the intro for the intro
the plot in the middle which i'll summarize in a few paragraphs whithout spoiling the ending
and the ending voicing my opinions on the book
should i include anything else or is that basically all needed in a book report

our teacher didn't give us any standards about how long or specifically how it should be written(typed)

say who the characters are
tell your teacher about the plot without ruining the ending
and then you can end by voicing your opinions on the book if you like depending on how long you have to have on your book talk. I am a 10th grader so I have done a few book reports.... ummm that should be it but when you do your opinions try not to ruin the ending like with summarizing with the plot...

Sounds good. Just make sure that you include the major theme of the book.... what it implies. And when you voice your opinions about the book make them more about what the book means to you, not whether or not you think it is good or well-written.

You seem about to write a great book review. I suggest typed, if you can. In the absence of other guidelines, it should beas long as you feel necessary.

we have 2 do one page, that sounds about right, but ours are just summaries, w/o the terms
