No.
After WWI, America reverted to it's isolationist tendencies. Then, WWII happened, and it developed the atomic bomb in response, setting off the Cold War 'arms race.' America was dragged kicking and screaming into the world's business, and most Americans would like nothing more than to go back to a policy of isolationism. Saddly, modern technology and economics make that impossible. So we're stuck with the world, and the world is stuck with us.

An international bully would not go so easy in a war as the US are doing. If they wished to be a bully then you would notice it and also the extinction of each country they go to war with.
Too many people are too harsh on the United States in this world. It's uncalled for because they are solving most of the worlds problems while countries wish to look the other way.
If a country wants aid then who do they go to? They wouldn't go to a Bully.

Why do you think the terrorists want to blow up America.
Osama bin laden wants America to stop funding Israel and withdrawal all their troops from Islamic countries.
If America agrees than Al-Qaeda will leave them alone.

No but the big guy on the block (just like China) is always picked on or teased, everyone knowing that he is muscle bound in many respects. If the US were a bully why would we put up with the crap we do and not just go out and beat the S___ out of those that we wanted things from.

No! A bully tries to do just that, Bully! We, in the US have no need to bully. We are the most powerful nation on the earth. However we do not exploit that; instead we work with others that we really should just take over!

I do. I think the administration needs to worry about what's going on in the US and fix those problems. Not every country appreciates US interventions.

No. The current Bush administration is the bully. And, if you've been paying attention, the American people are sick of it.
