"Obsolute"? You meant either 'Obsolete' or 'Absolute', and my guess is the former.
I bought a VCR and DVD/VCD in one unit. It's pretty useful, especially when, like me, you have a load of old videos stacked up.

Walmart, Kmart...they still have them. Usually as VCR/DVD combo players.
They aren't totally obsolete yet. You could also try Craig's List or a garage sale.

you can always try the 2nd hand shop, not really sure if the electrical shops now selling new VCR, but you can try also, just view 88db and maybe you can find it there too
