I know a few people here are being targeted now. I'm one of them. Suprise.
Who else is being targeted?

btw..I think that it's a good idea not to feed them and to block them.
But I also like exposing them so people can see their true colours.

Oh Sigy, I think we al have been harassed. It is their only way of getting attention. They could just communicate like a normal human...but oh no they are not normal, they have issues.
They generally take turns harassing (translated to private offensive mails), between one contributor and another. I think that eventually they leave you alone. For months I got these kind of material:
1- Pictures of dead horses
2- Mails about someone raping me
3- Mails about how stupid/boring I am
I begin to think today, that this is a way to make us angry, so we come to this open forum angry and then they can point fingers at us "See how angry they are", because the majority of the community don't understand what is going behind the scenes.
IGNORE, IGNORE, IGNORE

Yes, I am . It sounds like *everyone* is these days! LOL
Wawisgirl makes a good point - why can't YA have an option to not even see a troll's answers to other people's questions? That would certainly make me happy.
I hate to block emails and make my q & a's private, but I think I'll have to. It's a bummer, 'cause my Dad likes to surf over and see what questions I've starred and whatnot. So my IRL friends lose out. Plus, I like to just go and check out what other questions some of my favorites have been asking, but I can't if they're on Troll Alert. Bummer.
Try not to be disheartened, Sigy. You are a really valuable part of this little forum. The overwhelming majority of us like you and enjoy hearing your perspective. It's just that the internet houses not just "normal" people, but everyone under the sun. So some people who are not really fit for regular dialogue end up emailing other people uninvited. I do hope you won't lose interest in the forum because of those losers.

You should block people who say such things to you! Why take that sort of abuse and harassment if you don't have to?! And no, you're not the only one being targeted. I no longer get emails like the one you just posted, instead the "attacks" are much more hidden. My posts are getting reported for "chatting." I'm sure it's probably an attempt to get my account deleted. Do block those people. And know this: they create new accounts every day. Be very careful who you allow to add you as a contact. If you do not recognize the name, don't add until you thoroughly go through that person's profile. There are trolls who will create new accounts and then try to add people to their contacts (people they are targeting)- for the purpose of scanning your profile's questions and answers for anything they can find to report. I let someone add me (recently) without checking the profile first (which I usually do not do)...and that someone turned out to have a brand new account and when I scanned his questions and answers I realized it was a troll account: and I won't say whose account it was, but let's just say we all know him and we're not very "HAPPY" with his antics. The thing is, later that day after I let him add me, I got my first violation notice. Coincidence? I think not. He's blocked now- but the damage was done. So just be careful about who tries to add you as a contact. If you add a troll, he can go through your questions and answers and likely find many that contain "chatting" (because we all do this)- and he can then report all of those questions. It's a childish tactic, but it's one that they use.
*good luck*

Yep, that's why my Q&A are private, and why the trolls with multiple accounts get blocked when I have time. Otherwise, my questions and answers were getting reported. I never allowed emails or IM's since I had a couple of "admirers"/stalkers before I got here that I was avoiding. I wish I couldn't see the answers of those I've blocked, but at least I can see a question is a troll's right away and skip it!

I have been a target by a group of three trolls on immigration,
I block one troll, and another came on to attack me using the blocked troll answers, I block that troll and another attacked me using that block trolls answers and i blocked him I expect
To get another, soon. I do not allow e-mails for that reason, there are many people on YA I would like to communicate with, or just to say ,hi.

Sorry you are having those emails. Until I came to this section, I had never received one nasty email. I got one email one day and blocked this person right away. It sort of makes me annoyed because I would like to answer legitimate questions from interested people, but I didn't feel like dealing with that crap. I just made my stuff private.

Don't these losers intimidate you.
They are just scared of getting into serious trouble because they know perfectly well they did the wrong thing and were stupid enough to think they could get away with it.
It doesn't matter if they knew you were only 15 years old or not, or whatever your age is, what they did was wrong.

yuppers... I hated rebirth at first, now he doesn't bug me. I think I'm a "desperate housewife" this week, oh well, it's all in good fun with him.
but the troll that deleted my light hearted question on Friday bugs me, I was only trying to bring people together... oh well, I'm not going to be miserable and join him though.

Well first of all, you can stop that all by setting your profile infos to invisible. That way no one can email you. However that doesn't stop the ones that are already emailing you from emailing you. Good luck at flushing the turds back down the toilet!

I hope you reported each of these e-mails, some sounds very threatening. You can also put your settings to private, that will eliminate the e-mails and im, make sure you don't allow others to e-mail or im you, good luck.
