my fish is swimming at the bottom corner of my fish tank and it hasn't moved from that spot for days it is still alive but i wanted to know why it is doing that?

There could be a number of possibilities, especially since you didn't mention how long you had the tank set up, or how long you've had the fish (or they type of fish that this is).

Water quality and too strong of a current for the fish to swim are probably the most likely. But there could be some possibilities not mentioned, such as your fish is a female livebearer (guppy, platy, swordtail, or molly) and it's trying to find a quite spot to give birth to fry. Some species of nocturnal fish, or ones that prefer lower lighting levels (black knife fish, otocinclus, loaches, pleco) naturally just hang out diring the day, and often try to find a spot where there's less light (in a corner, under a filter).

More Info. Is your fish tank newly set up. What sort of fish is it? is it a bottom feeder?
Sounds to me like its tired. how long are you lights on for?

He si sick or just scared. Is he new because sometimes they can go into shock when in a completely new enviornment.
