Thanksgiving -- there is very little commercial about it.
The holiday is designed to give thanks and spend time with those you love. What more can one ask for.

Christmas. By far the best holiday in my opinion. I love spending time with my relatives, decorating my house for Christmas, going to stores and buying gifts for people, going to the Christmas service on Christmas Eve night at my church, and especially getting presents from both loved ones and Santa Claus. Yes, I still believe in Santa Claus because he s a spirit of giving. I love everything about Christmas and Christmas Eve and all the things we do each year. I always feel bad when Christmas Day is over. All the anticipation and celebrating is gone unless people come over after Christmas Day.
I also really enjoy Thanksgiving. That s my second favourite holiday. I spend every Thanksgiving at my grandmother s house with my family and my father s sister s family. My grandmother makes really good dumplings and pumpkin pie.

My favorite holiday is Independence Day. I always have so much fun on The 4Th of July no matter what I do. I'm really Patriotic, and I love going to DC, canoeing down the Shenandoah River, watching the parade in New Market VA, seeing the fireworks of Hagerstown, Martinsburg, Hanover, and Berkeley Springs all at the same time on my the roof of my boyfriends building or whatever activity(ie)s I chose that particular one.

Pumpkin Gooey butter cakes!! Paula Deen (a food network celeb) had a recipie for these on her show a few years ago. I have been making them every year since! Sinfully delicious! Here's the recipie: Cake: 1 (18 1/4-ounce) package yellow cake mix 1 egg 8 tablespoons butter, melted Filling: 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened 1 (15-ounce) can pumpkin 3 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 8 tablespoons butter, melted 1 (16-ounce) box powdered sugar 1 teaspoon cinnamon 1 teaspoon nutmeg Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Combine the cake mix, egg, and butter and mix well with an electric mixer. Pat the mixture into the bottom of a lightly greased 13 by 9-inch baking pan. To make the filling: In a large bowl, beat the cream cheese and pumpkin until smooth. Add the eggs, vanilla, and butter, and beat together. Next, add the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and mix well. Spread pumpkin mixture over cake batter and bake for 40 to 50 minutes. Make sure not to overbake as the center should be a little gooey. Serve with fresh whipped cream. Variations: For a Pineapple Gooey Cake: Instead of the pumpkin, add a drained 20-ounce can of crushed pineapple to the cream cheese filling. Proceed as directed above. For a Banana Gooey Cake: Prepare cream cheese filling as directed, beating in 2 ripe bananas instead of the pumpkin. Proceed as directed above. For a Peanut Butter Gooey Cake: Use a chocolate cake mix. Add 1 cup creamy peanut butter to the cream cheese filling instead of the pumpkin. Proceed as directed above.

My favorite holdiay is definitely Christmas, because I get to spend time with my family and my friends and my boyfriend. I love the traditions involved. The old traditions, and the new ones. For example, this year, my boyfriend and I are starting a new tradition of decorating our christmas tree together. Each year we make eggnog together and attend the same Holiday parties. I love Christmas because I enjoy GIVING gifts to people. I love wrapping presents in front of my fireplace, and watching the reactions of people opening gifts! It's true, giving is better than receiving.

Thanksgiving and Christmas the food, traditions, family and friends, the smell of the house between pumpkin and Christmas trees. Celebrating Christ s birth, year end, and being thankful for what you have. The decorations watching the parade. I love both these holidays.

Christmas and Halloween seem to be the most popular, generally speaking. http://www.girlsaskguys.com/Other-Questions/915480-what-your-favorite-holiday-least-favorite.html
I like Halloween the best, Christmas is stressful because I never have enough money to buy the gifts I want to give to my family. Chumps always ask for expensive stuff, haha!
