Any of a number of reasons, in the way that you either do or do not celebrate, and how does this make you feel?

Certain Christmas eve traditions of the prior generation have been dropped. For example, five fishes meal for dinner before Christmas eve was a constant with the in-laws. Many of the traditional meals for holidays have also ended. I don't have a feeling one way or the other. It was nice to observe the traditions when the old folks were around.
