By and large, no-not in the sense of any organized campaign of violence. However, the situation will be much more volatile. In 1992, the extreme right was gaining ground--despite the outcome of the presidential election--and were able to use their new control of the GOP to secure majorities in Congress in 1994. They felt, to put it simply, that their goil of taking over the government was achievable. Consequently, only a few psychopaths resorted to terrorism.
Now, they are going to be far more dangerous. The vast majority, of course, will not be viiolent. However, in the face of the utter failure of the "neoconservative" movement, its disaserouds foreign policy, failed domestic and economic policy--and MOST important, the overwhelming rejection of the hatred and intolerance of the far right by the Americanpeople, some of the more unstable elements will become violent.

When did Liberal become synonomous with Democrat?Or have they changed the party name?We have fallen for kool-aid that mainstream media serves us.
Now that I have that off my chest - Yes the Republican Party will criticize any Democrat elected.Just as the Democrats will criticize any Republican elected. It's become the job of the opposition party to complain about what is wrong with the country rather than offer any real alternatives. They will do so without basis in fact, but rather use innuendo and half-truths to further their agenda. And We,The People will not do any research to find out the truth. That would take a little effort and we wouldn't want to actually find out that our government is lying to us.So just be prepared for more of the same and keep believing in partisan politics. We get what we deserve.

Yes, they're doing it already, to Hillary. And it won't stop no matter which democrat is elected. It has become an essential part of the Republican philosophy

Of course it will. They're a one trick pony. They are unpatriotic and could care less what is good for America and democracy. They only care about what's in it for them. Their only real tool is to keep the country divided at all costs. They push short-sighted and self-serving agendas that are poison to our nation and then call us unpatriotic if we dare question or criticize it. There is no limit to what these monsters will do, use, or twist to get their way. They maintain control through fear based on lies and half-truths. There are no moral fences reigning them in. Count on it.

You know how we have a hated Republican president that receives heaps of criticism on a daily basis from the left wing?
That, reversed, will be the reality if a democrat/liberal wins.
So, welcome to the "new era" America, come 2009.
