Failed economic policy, failed diplomatic policy, needless wars, and lots of hyperbole. Please advise as to why any sane American would vote Republican based on the record, not, Limbaugh rhetoric...

1. Destroying the Constitution/Government - I think we have all seen a great deal of evidence of this in the past few years. Short-sighted economic policies, foreign policy decided by a man who has rarely traveled and has no understanding of economics, sociology, or history. They lower taxes and increase spending. They encourage corporations to go overseas, taking American jobs on the way.

2. Division: Divded we fall. They are all for this. They are our moral police keeping us always apprised of every possible threat from all possible enemies and we are surrounded! Homosexuals want to take my marriage away. Illegals want that job I won't do. Terrorists are chomping at the bit to blow me up or burn me down. Report all suspicious people. If you see someone who is an alien in trouble and offer assistance, you could go to prison. Poiosonous idealogies that are impervious to facts. Keep the electorate discouraged, maybe they won't come to the polls. Don't let them know anyone's qualifications, not even your own. Just keep bombarding them with how horrible everyone is

3. Disinformation: Never tell the truth or admit accountability. Lie about things that don't even need to be lied about. Tell lies that will poison us and keep us distracted from the sneaky crap they pull. Right now the Federal Government is arresting and persecuting medical marijuana patients in states where voters have decided to allow it. The sick, dying and usually somewhat impoverished. Those who are too weak and lack the means to defend themselves. Why, because marijuana is a dangerous drug that has no known benefits. That is what the government says. They don't care about the danger of such a lie; that our young will believe that and when they learn there is no truth or evidence to their claims, will feel comfortable with experimenting with real, dangerous drugs. That is only one example. They throw fairy tale after fairy tale at us and we swallow it whole.

That's a start. They're good at a lot of things. Unfortunately, not one of them is something to be proud of and most should earn you time behind bars.

I find it funny that people still believe anything they say. Let's take terrorism for example. People claim that this administration has stopped terrorism in this country by catching the bad guys before it happens. REALLY? Where are these bad guys that they have stopped. I haven't seen anyone on trial for attempting to commit terrorism lately or since the shoe bomber Richard Reed. Where are these people if the Bush adminstration has stopped them from doing it. At least with Clinton, he caught the first perpetrators of the WTC bombings and they were behind bars at least 2 years after those bombings occured. We don't have any of the perpetrators who funded the 9/11 operation or OBL behind bars and it's already 6 years later. So tell me again how well Bush is doing on the issue of terrorism?
In addition, the economy sucks, inflation is rising and if Bernake lowers the interest rates again we will see even higher inflation rates. Oil is skyrocketing soon to pass $100 a barrel. I bet alot of these oil guys and Bush's base have lots of money in hedge funds that making a boat load of money for them while the rest of us pay for it. They've given billions to Pakistan with not one bit of oversight or accountability of where that money is going. They've lost over 9 billion in Iraq in which they can't find it at all. And, they just keep raiding the treasury like it is their own private piggy bank. How anyone can call the GOP a patriotic and pro-U.S party is something that is not only unbelievable but there is no proof of it being true.

Single digit inflation
Single digit unemployment
Unprecedented growth
Strong Military
High revenue
National Security
Fall of the soviet Union
End of the cold war
Quick Comparrison
Eisenhower, Nixon, Ford, Regan, Bush, Bush
Kennedy, Johnson, Carter, Clinton
Which set of fiscal policies would you like for a do-over.
The numbers don't lie.
In the aggregate, there is no comparrison.
The present economic condition is always a matter of impression and attitude. Historical economics is a matter of cold hard facts. Historically, we have always done better under a Republican since Coolidge. The last time the Democrats had a president we could be proud of was Wilson.

I tend to vote for the person, not the party.
The winner of the political primary presents his vision to the party members. The party then supports and works towards his or her vision. Bush's vision took the party in the wrong direction, in my opinion. I plan to remain objective toward the next Republican candidate despite Bush's mismanagement.

Republicans have done a terrific job! They have gotten us into two actual wars and one metaphorical war (on terrorism). I think they could start a couple of more metaphorical wars. I would like to see a war on bad t-shirts. I would like to see a war on pedophiles. I would like to see a war on those godless top models. So they could obviously do better there.

They have done a superb job creating an economy that keeps the rich moving in the direction (UP!) and the poor in the direction (down!). I don't want some poor person getting any of MY money...that's for sure.

Third, vetoing that bill on child healthcare was a bonus. If you can't afford to keep your kid healthy then let him/her die. It goes on the parents in the end....if you can't afford to keep your kid alive then forget you!

Fourth, making sure that stem cells don't get used for anything good in America is the way to go. Lets let the Japanese or the Germans figure that one out. Our public schools kinda suck anyway; it's not like we can count on young people to figure anything out these days.

Plus, I hate abortions. How can anyone be pro-death in this country? Even if it's just a little tiny embryo, that could be a nanny for my kids or a butler to drive me around in or even a house cleaner. Pro-choice, uh uh...Pro-death is what they really are. Terrorists to the fetus'.

Seriously, Bush said that God was telling him what to do on a regular basis...do you want to question God. I think not.

Well.... I don't accept the premise of your question, or the accuracy of the points there in...

BUT... I'll answer anyway.

The best thing Republicans have done in the Executive Branch is to keep A Democrat from having sex parties in the Oval office.

They do a great job of screwing up the government, then point out how inept government is.

For that they deserve an A+

1. Lower taxes, which has resulted in the economy being in great shape, no matter how much liberals try to portray it as being otherwise.

2. Keep terrorists from launching another attack. We've had none since 9-11.

3. Appoint conservative judges, thereby insuring that courts do not attempt to be legislatures.

I could go on, but you get the message.

Funny isn't it. You hear them rant on here day and night. They had control of the white house and the congress for six whole years and this is what we get?

Time to let the grown ups drive again...
