Either the volume of my sound system being too high and forgetting all about it, so that when I switch to a CD or radio the next morning, it produces a loud noise that scares me for a second.
That or the garage next door that breaks something, let's something drop, go into overdrive, etc. etc. etc.

a clap of thunder in the night
sends a shiver down my spine
i cant stop my heart from racing
faster
faster
the wind howels
shreeks
louder
louder
save me from this storm of ages
rescue me from this torment
the horrible blinding light cracks the sky
the rain pours down around me
i sit on the curb and cry
my tears mesh with those of the sky
the tempest gives me a thrilling rush
i never want the gail to stop

My efffing roof is leaking and has b eeen for years, so that would be the most likely loud noise if it did cave in, or my wonderful newphew who is a bit of a nutter like me his auntie, getting drunk and rattling the door of its hinges. My b.f. is in hospital and I would shat myself!!! Really bad hangovers can make you jump out of your skin at the slightest noise, I mean bad hangovers not the sniff off the barman's cloth!!!!!!!
