i have played it before but do not own it should i or is it a wast of money?

If you have the time and the money to play the game, then yes, by all means get it, especially if you enjoyed playing it when you tried it before.
Whatever you do, don't listen to the hype about "it costs you your soul" or you'll get addicted". WoW has gotten a reputation like D&D used to have way back when; the whole thing about kids who played D&D killed each other and worshiped the Devil. Were there incidents of kids killing each other? Yes, but not because of the game. It was because they had issues.
So if you have a mental problem, are easily influenced by video games, or are just a moron, then don't play WoW. Otherwise, if you're a normal person looking for a good game to kill some time with, go for it.

Absolutely NOT. If you have to pay every month to play a game you've already paid $40-$50 for, then it is NOT worth it.
Ask yourself this: Do I want to buy World of Warcraft for $230?
$15/month x 12 months = $180 + $50 to buy the game = $230.
That's almost a Wii or Xbox 360.....
Save your money kid--You could buy almost 5 games with that money!!

You don't actually buy it. You pay an entrance fee (and get what's inside the main box) and pay for the expansion packs, but then you pay a monthly fee.
If you are hurting for money, it's a bad deal. If you have a steady income you might like it.

In my opinion WoW is a waste of money you will get bored I suggest FFXI final fantasy online its got alot more depth in the story line and much more choice if you got any questions just contact me.

Depends on if you want to have a life or not. WoW is addictive and you'll be playing way more than you expect to. You'll have fun, no doubt, but you will definately be sucked into it.

The cost of WoW isn't only $15.00 a month, it also costs you your soul!!!
So no, it's not worth buying.
If you have a life and you would like to keep it that way, then don't buy WoW!!!!!

I LOVE WOW ( nickname for world of warcraft ).
U should definitely buy it!!! i don't own it but my brothers do and they let me start characters and play them pretty often!!
