Well if x=25, then you would solve the equation for f(x).
f(x) = sqrt ((3*25)-15) = 7.75.
So you would plot the point (25, 7.75) on your graph.

Just plug in.
sqrt(3*5 - 15) = 0
sqrt(3*6 - 15 = â3
sqrt(3*7 - 15) = â6
sqrt(3*8 - 15) = 3
sqrt(3*9 -15) = â12 = 4â3
sqrt(3*10 -15) = â15
etc
Any x less than 5 will result in f(x) equaling the a square root of a negative number, and thus anything less than 5 won't show up in a real plot. Don't bother testing them.
Just plug in 50 points or so.

you would go 2 15 on the y axis because thats your y-intercept. and you would rise 3 and go over 1 from 15 because 3 is your slope and your slope has to be rise over run so thats why you would rise 3 run 1 from 15. keep doing that then draw your line.

plug in random numbers till you see the picture and trends....
If your taking calculus:
check your 1st and 2nd derivatives for maxima/minima/concavity
note the points and graph according to those.
If not taking calc ignore the above as it prob made things worse :P

Regardless of the answer to your math problem,
I would strongly recommend a remedial course in English, as well.
