It depends partly on your stereo. Some Stereos of an aux. input for devices such as MP3 players and Ipods.

Alot dont however.

That is my situation, so I used and FM Modulator I bought and circuit city. It works great (CD quality to my ears) and was to to teribly hard to install.

Another option is an FM Transmitter such as the one Belkon makes, but I would go for the Hard wired Modulator myself, It has much better sound quality.

usually only if its an aftermarket cd player with an auxillary input or ipod ready
