a ticking clock in the room ?

this keeps me up all night. i have even searched houses of people im staying with to dismount clocks off the wall because of this noise bugging the hell out of me at night. i like pitch black silent darkness when i sleep!

Yes, mom got us used to sleeping with the TV or radio on, so a ticking clock is nothing.

I sleep with a fan on but I don't know if I could with a ticking clock.

God no - it drives me to distraction. I recently stayed at a very posh hotel in Poland with a ticking clock - 3 nights of torture!

Yes i can and it actually helps me sleep. It has a hypnotic effect on me. I remember when i was a very small child, i had a clock at my bedside and was very aware of it ticking. Rather than drive me crazy it just helped me get off to sleep....tick...tock....tick....tock....tick...tock.....hypnotic, eh?

NEVER. once i woke up at 4am and stayed awake `til 5 cause of a ticking clock. finally; i went to go tell mommy and daddy =)

No, it drives me crazy, like somebody snoring, theres nothing worse, get a digital clock and put tape over the flashing light(they do my nut in to)

Yeah, as long as i put on music over it
or a book on CD
or if im really tired from a project im doin
or if im really involved in a book and dont notice
if im just lyin there, it drives me wild!!!!
