His humping your leg is a demonstration that he thinks he's greater interior the social hierarchy than you, and is demonstrating his dominance over you. You spectacular this by using obedience coaching, and by using different skill to convicne him that he's on the backside of the pecking order, no longer the suitable as he at the instant believes. yet in a various way of gaining dominance is to absolutely administration the food. do no longer loose feed. once you're waiting to feed him, prepare his food, then make him take a seat. positioned the food down and don't enable him start up ingesting till you tell him to. He does not comprehend take a seat and stay? that's what the obedience coaching is for. Given him no greater beneficial than 10 - quarter-hour to consume, then take the food away till the subsequent ordinary feeding. A NILIF (no longer something In existence Is loose) recurring will help too. in this, he gets no longer something that he needs with out first obeying a command from you. this could be a hassle-free take a seat command. So previously he is going outdoors, gets petted, something, he has to do some thing you require. which will additionally help get the thought throughout the time of that he's no longer the alpha dogs. while that happens, the leg humping will probably pass away, and if he does attempt it, an hassle-free reprimand ought to guard it. Ang do get him neutered. different than in very uncommon situations, it is not a large deal.

not sure what this question is doing in the beauty section but hey,..... you need to bang two tin lids together everytime he does it. dog trainers do it to stop negative behaviour in dogs such as barking.

he wont like the noise and should eventually get the message !
otherwise buy a water sprayer, like the ones you use for the garden and spray him each time he does it. buy a new one tho or make sure you use one that hasnt had any chemicals like babygro in it
good luck

I asked my Vet because, my puppy was doing
the same thing, and she said that, you have to
show them who's boss, because it has something
to do with the dog trying to control "you".
Anyway, my dog doesn't do that to me anymore,
now she does it to the cat. I don't really like that
but, I have to confess, it makes me laugh because
my cat weighs about 20 pounds, and the dog weighs
about 5 pounds. All my animals are spayed and/or neutered.

God Bless You.

When he does it, squirt him with a small toy watergun

It works a treat, give him a week and he wont do it again.

It dosent hurt him, and you dont have to embaress yourself yelling!

Disaplin (sp?) Tell them no, bad boy/girl and ignore them. Don't give them treats for good behavior. It will find out what it's doing wrong. Or if it continues, buy it a mate ^_^
