nope. people who do this are insane. stick to what you believe in. theres a reason you never converted before you met that person. would they convert for you? the truth is..two people cannot walk together unless they agree..so it looks like a sacrifice will be inevitable in this case.

No. < as in the rejecting Christ thing and becoming a buddhist or something>.
If it were like Catholic or Jewish then i wouldnt have a problem attending service or synogogue with them, and supporting them. but those are not such a stretch.
I would never convert to another religion and reject God. (or Jesus♥) Sorry, that's part of who i am. ♥

But if you or others would, no judgment here; to each his own.

I am not religious but consider myself very spiritual. I would take a religion ONLY if the religion was appealing to me regardless of my loved one. This is a great question that people should ask themselves seriously before getting married to somebody outside of their religion. Unfortunately I have seen marriages ending in divorce for this reason.
-Have a great evening! ♥

No, definitely not, because I'm sure of myself in my religion.

But, for someone that is not sure of their religion, you could either be converting to something better, or something worse.

This is a touchy area because it is a matter of making the correct choice for ones eternal soul.

Conversion below the condition you describe could be a faux, superficial sham. i could no longer do it, yet i think it happens plenty. to a pair human beings, perception in any particular faith potential no longer something to them. One faith is as stable as yet another, so why no longer do even though you could desire to do to be with the guy you like? i ought to work out it occurring, yet, back, i do no longer look at issues that way.

No I wouldnt..Thankfully hubby and I are of the same belief. That would be a tough decision to make.

They'd have to show me that their religion was indeed the correct one. thts the prob im having now. my bf is ND and Im JW. for me to change for him he'd have to convince me tht im wrong. ive won too many biblical arguments for him to try to tell me tht he is correct and that religion doesnt matter. (the kicker is, he KNOWS im right.) but in simpler terms, yes, i'd change for someone i love.
