Im confused on how to do it. Do I have to repalce my old one? What memory card do I buy? Is it easy?How many memory can I put in? How do I do it? I will really love to get some answers. Please and thank you.

its illegal now. there were memory expansions.
like 20gb or 30 gb more. you would have to open up your ps3 and do it manually. but now the new 80gb ps3 came out. which is total bs.

60gb - $600
80gb + 5 games + 5 blu-ray movies - $500
40gb - $400
well those are the prices here in california

You can either swap out your hard drive for a bigger one (the PS3 uses a standard 2.5inch SATA type, the same as you use in some laptops) or you can use an external hard drive connected to a USB port.
It's definitely isn't illegal, it's part of the design and changing your original drive shouldn't invalidate your warrenty.
