I am addicted to wasabi, but find I appear to be building up a tolerance for it, and have to almost "eat" it straight now on my sushi :-( Two questions, has this tolerance happened to anyone else? And what are you addicted to and have constant cravings for?

I am now putting more wasabi than soya sauce on sushi and it STILL isnt strong enough to make me happy :-( When we were in Asia and ordered sushi and put wasabi on it the waitress would come running all distressed and warn us "so hot be careful" They were always surprised we werent gasping and reaching for somethng to drink right away. :-) And its really good for clearing your sinuses too

Horseradish sauce...the kind that is mixed with mayo. That is the only thing I want on everything. I must be getting a little addicted though, because I have started using mustard and horseradish at the same time, and I have always disliked mustard. Our taste buds are strange things!

It can only be Italian and/or Greek food. I can never get enough of it. I've been very good about going only where Bob wants to go while he can't drive, but this weekend, we're going to the Valley for a tournament, and they have the BEST Italian restaurant in a little town just 10 miles further up the road. We're going there. (Or at least I am!)

I use cayenne (chili) powder on everything, can't get enough of it. Jalapeno's run about 5,000 heat units, I just bought a pound from the herb store that I'd ordered special. It is 200,000 heat units. Cayenne powder and cheese. One's good for you and one is bad, so I am hoping they balance each other out.

I am addicted to sugar, love chocolate. I used to eat popcorn all the time, then found I was allergic to corn. I crave foods I'm allergic to like popcorn, nachos, corn chips, cheetos, etc.

Freshly brewed coffee, with half and half just like Katydid. I can't stand coffee if it has "sat" for even half an hour. And since I only have the one cup of coffee a day, I am NOT compromising on my ounce of half and half!

I love anything hot, hot sauce, horseradish, hot mustard, creole seasoning. My tastebuds must be declining because I love anything hot since I have gotten older.
