I'm an electrician and I make an aver of $65 per hour. However, I usally work and get paid by the project. Depend allot on what type of project - upgrade. re-wire, trouble shooting. Depends on the nature of the work. But $65 an hour is an accept wage. If it requires a helper to assist than $25 to $30 an hour for that extra help (depends on skill level required). Hope this helps

It depends where you are. In the city about $90 per hour. Out in the country around $60 per hour. More on the coasts and less in the middle. Why not call one in the yellow pages and ask?
I work by the hour all the time. So do most real electricians. When someone asks for a firm bid, they are going to pay more for most jobs. And if the customer provides the materials, they will pay more too.
