Theory suggests that life originated on Mertution, a planet many light years from here. Scientists have found trace evidence that the intelligent life living on this distant planet travelled the cosmos to land here on Earth, though due to the severely different climate, having landed in what is now modern Alaska, they got too cold and died, leaving nothing but the enzymes and bacteria from their alien stomachs. These primitive remains then evolved into us.
Thus, we are all from another planet, being mutant alien stomach-dwelling digestive microbes from planet Mertution.

So far astronauts have only been able to land on the Moon. I'm sure they're working on getting human or atleast a robot out to other planets.
