For around £150 you can get the Funai 250GB HD recorder from Ebay, I got mine within 2 days delivered to my door. It is excellent and very user friendly, another good one,but a bit more expensive, is the Liteon, which I have had in the past, but I prefer the Funai.

I bought a Lite-On, piece of crap!! Lasted 14 months, then I bought the Sony I should have bought in the first place!
