Several people in the past have gotton around to asking me the same questions about sex, and I don't know how to answer them. Ussually, guys my age ask me 'if I like girls' or 'if I have a girlfriend', and sometimes make sexual jokes or comments with me, but only briefly. There have also been a handful of people who have asked me if I've ever masterbated, and each time I've been asked I was too stunned to know what to say. Why do people ask these things? Is it a joke? What does it mean? How should I respond?

They are nosey and it seems these days people think they have a right to know everyones sexual business. Just tell them its none of their business and to go bother someone else.

THe best way to deal with questions you don't want to answer is to ask the person back "Why do you ask that?" This puts the onus back on them. They will either back off, or give you an answer. Either way, you just say "Oh, good to know." or something along that line. Immediately go onto another subject. The nosey party will be left with nowhere to go without looking like a fool.

You can tell them what I tell people who ask questions of a personal matter - Oh I'm sorry I didn't tell you then it must be none of your fkn business! - works everytime. Of course you can also be nicer about it, But sometimes people misunderstand nice as please ask me another stupid question.
