need more information here as to what your trying to do. If I was to guess I am assuming your trying to wake up your PC over a modem or dial up connection and the answer to this is yes if your modem supports it. So essentially you can "wake" it up and then it will get on line automatically and then oyu can connect to it over the Internet. You need to look at your user manual for the configuration. I would be able to give more details but its been like 10 years sinc ei used a modem. Or post your model, if this is indeed what your trying to do, and ill help you with the process.
