Titanium is already used in aircraft engines. It has some nice properties, but it's hard to work with and it's expensive.

CFRP materials are used as structural elements but not for engines. None have yet proved suitable, probably because of the temperature and pressure demands.

I'm sure it's possible, but is it ever the best choice? The main candidates would be ultralight aircraft and vehicles
