since brothel's are legal in Nevada, your brother is merely pursuing a legitimate business opportunity. as you stated this is a moral dilemma for you. i dont think you should let it bother you, and if people ask what your brother does for a living, you can always say he works in the entertainment industry near Las Vegas. let people think what they will.

I think one should be more ashamed of the women who make him a business. You're brother is taking advantage of these women, because they don't become prostitutes for enjoyment, most of them do it for the money to survive. Your brother is not making "people happy", the men who frequent brothels, are lonely, and miserable, and seeing a prostitute doesn't cure their ailments, but only allows them to continue in their denial of a problem with themselves, and refuse to find a "cure". Sex is not love, and never will be.

No. If he's doing something he enjoys, is doing it legally, and no one is getting hurt, then you shouldn't be ashamed. However, if you are ashamed, you don't have to volunteer that information with people. If people ask, give them a vague answer...tell them he's a business manager/owner. Someone else suggested you say he works in the entertainment business. Tell people if they ask that he's the manager/owner of an entertainment establishment. Hope this helps.

No can tell you to be or not be ashamed... that's an emotion you have every right to have. There are too many thought police around here. If it makes you uncomfortable, that's totally your right to be... it doesn't make you judgemental. If you're proud to have him in the family, that's your right too!

As long as what he is doing is legal and to code, and no one is getting hurt, you probably shouldn't try to inflict your feelings or attitudes onto him...that WOULD be being judgemental and just darn annoying.

No, you should get in good with him because he's likely to make a great deal of money.

You can always look at prostitution this way - it gives men a safe and legal outlet for sexual enegery that may otherwise find a less-enthusiastic recipient (and clearly I don't mean *all* guys). There was a time when the church even ran its own brothel for that very reason....and to make money.

Dont be ashamed. YOU didnt open the brothel, or choose your brother lol. Love him just the same.

Dont encourage that brothel thing tho, its still a whore house.

Why should you be ashamed,, people have to eat
and well as long as he is not hurting or killing other people is all fair....... i mean would you be proud if he was standing at the end of the freeway with a sing " I need help"

your brother is doing well, and runs his own biz.....
be proud, its a hard world out there.
some how you have to survive.

Your first thoughts are correct. What he is doing is morally wrong. Having said that.. he is your brother... and tho' you may hate what he is doing it doesn't mean you can not still love him. If he were my brother, I would let him know how I feel about his 'business' and I would secretly pray that he sees how wrong it is and quits it.

it is a win/loose situation, but in the end at least he's doing it legally???? I hope???? But still hopefully he realizes that he needs to keep it clean (as far as employees) there are worse things that he could be doing. He could be a pimp and a drug dealer.
