I know some vampire books, they are romance. I won't recommend The historian cause everyone else is so I'll recommend other books. There is this series, the title for the third book is I only have fangs for you by Kathy Love. Did you read blood and chocolate. I heard that its about werewolves and vampires. But I think my friend told me that its not on vampires. And there is this other book that is hilarious... no for real, I'm not kidding. I'm the vampire, that's why by Michele Bardsley. This book is romance 2. I would type some hilarious parts but I left the book at school. There is this other book- The becoming. First book of the series.

The only one I can personally recommend is The Historian by Kostova.
Discovering a medieval book and a cache of letters, a motherless American girl becomes the latest in a series of historians, including her late father, who investigate the possible surviving legacy of Vlad the Impaler.

There is one called The Historian by Elizabeth Kostova, that i just started, which explains about Vlad the Impaler..aka Count Dracula. I wasn't expecting it to be about that, so it was bit of a surprise, but it is surprisingly good. i highly recommend it.

ahh Twilight is a thumbs up..did you read its sequel? they have 2 ones after this one so check them out,(the 2nd is called new moon but idk the name of the third, go to bn.com to get the name of the author-stephenie meyer and it will tell you)
try searching in barnes and nobles and ask the clerks..also, books that mention Vlad Tepes (aka a Romanian king long long ago who started dracula's rumors b/c it is said he was one).. but be careful b/c you don't want his life story, just books that mention stuff on him to give it a more of a "vampire touch"

I think the authors name is Stephanie Meyer. The books are called ''New Moon'', ''Eclipse'', and I think there may be more, I'm not sure though. I have read ''New Moon'' so far. It's one of the best books I've ever read.

Try the vampire books written by Ann Rice-Vampire Chronicles, her prevailing thematical focus is on love, death, immortality, existentialism, and the human condition.
