do you consider whether or not it has philosophical significance of any sort? "What is the meaning of life" does have significance, but not when asked 71,000+ times. Do you ever use Search for Question, or look at the similar questions that pop up under yours as you type? Do you have the slightest idea what epistemology is, or metaphysics? Do you know how to form a proper propsition and a proper syllogism, let alone using good grammar and syntax?

I do, and I wish you would. If you need help forming a proper philosophical question, email me.

My apology for sounding arrogant. That was the last think I wanted. What I meant was, when you ask a question, do you wonder if it has a metaphysical answer, one of epistemology or of ethics? Many of the good intended questions that deserve an answer I cannot answer, because they are a mixed bag--what is the questioner really asking? Does he want a metaphysical answer? A practical answer? What is he looking for? I have often answers picked as "Best" by the asker that had nothing to do with what I took the questions to mean.
Clarity is important. That is all I meant.

Yes I know what you mean, sometimes I as others get wrapped p in the moment and just throw it out, disconnected.
Thanks for the thought and I'll contact when I need help. Take care.

No, I'm afraid I do not know the slightest idea what epistemology is, or metaphysics, and I don't know how to form a proper proposition and a proper syllogism. What I do know is the basis of philosophy, and it is not have to have the same structure of which you preach. It is to try to have a better understanding of the world around us and to be a wiser individual, and even though I disagree with your anal structures and oppression point of views, I will look up those terms. I can see that you are an intellectual, and I deeply respect that, as I hope you would respect me. I think however, that you are coming off slightly arrogant.

I don't know what you mean with this funny looking words you used . Do you really want to say you can help to form a proper philosophical question by using those words? From where comes a philosophical question? To satisfy your intellectual needs? To demonstrate that you are a very clever person? Then you might need those words.
If you have a question coming out of your urge to find an answer that has to do with your struggling in your existence, then you don't need sophisticated words, one can say profound things with simple words. Don't you think so?
When the question comes from deep within, then the answer will show up. It doesn't really matter from where.
This place 'answer' might not be important in the first place because there are answers, but because there are questions...

Nothing in excess. Know thyself. These are formidable imperatives. The pedantic mindset turns off countless potential philosophers. It must be tempered; it must have counterpoint.

A brief anecdote. When I was an undergraduate one professor suggested I read Marquis de Sade. His intention, I suspect, was to either to derail me or make me capable of facing the ultimate things, which are both beautiful and frightening. Did I follow his suggestion? What a sweet dilemma/syllogism this was for me.

A few steps back from solitude, where no one suspects and few dare go!

Frankly I am only interested in getting the point across. All the rest is insignificant if the point is clear. There are many so called philosophers which the general public can not even begin to understand. It is more important to inspire in a pure simplistic way than all you mentioned. Simple Truth is more important than philosophical speculation in stated in perfect grammar syntax etc. I hope you can understand what I mean. Simple for the simple at heart. Thanks

Good question!

It is very important that you brought this question up. Honestly, i am not a good writer nor perfect in English. I know you as one of the intelligent persons in this site and with a lot of philosophical sense too. That i admired you most. We get good answers from you and i know how brutally frank you are. However, on my part i know how to accept things just as what they are. I tried to understand questions as much as i could. If not, i just leave the question or tell the person in a most nicest way not to offend a person. You must consider very well that this is a public forum where everyone could participate regardless of educational background they have . They come from different countries and of different origins. On my part English is not my first language. But i know this may not be an excuse as i see what you are driving at. However, you must have room for understanding. Some are trying to communicate in English as best as they could being their second language. I appreciate people doing this because at least they are doing their greatest effort just to participate in this site. If only they could express it in their own language why not? Remember my friend that philosophy requires much of understanding. You must have patience in dealing with these people. Although you have hurt them with your arrogant approach. But we have different culture as we belong to different province. Be that as it may, one must consider that your philosophical mind doesn't equate as what you wish to expect. You know it very well from the questions drawn from a person. All the terms you mentioned may not be known by everyone here unless they really love philosophy by heart.

Yes, i do use search questions just to be sure my question has not yet been asked. But others use this site for fun. You must learn to accept that. You cannot expect things as you wanted to. How you wish it could but it very impossible. As an intelligent person, you must able to consider these factors.

Before i leave this important question, i highly appreciate your kindness in helping others to do better. Hope you could e-mail me on some tips. Thanks for your good heart.

Hope you have patience with us.

Thanks for asking. Have a great day!

"The ten thousand questions are one question.
If you cut through the one question, then the
ten thousand questions disappear."

yaoi, you speak of the essence of a question, yet stumble and trip over a mis-placed punctuation. :)

If one will ask, seeking an answer, then they will ask as best they can, in that moment.

answer what is asked, not what is written.

But the wind will not answer.

Yes. Yes and yes. Yes and yes. Yes, yes, yes, and yes.

Have you heard of understanding and acceptance of others?Their flaws and imperfections...? Accepting a public forum for what it is...?

Do you know that if a person finds something terribly offensive, it might be best to steer away from it and leave it to the people who enjoy it?
