I'm using it for a poem for my bf on his birthday, but I cant think of a rhyming word for adversity

The only PERFECT rhymes are these three (and compound forms ending with them):
* diversity, perversity, university

That might not quite give you what you need. So you MAY decide to rewrite the line to put a different word in the 'rhyming position'. OR you may be able to find a usable NEAR rhyme (in which the sounds MOSTLY match,esp. the vowels).

That would add at least:

eternity. modernity
fraternity, paternity, maternity
acerbity

Sometimes you can get away with slightly changing a vowel. So you might use;
* scarcity, sparsity, varsity

Or perhaps something even looser, but probably at least keeping the "-sity" ending;
* curiosity, falsity, generosity, ferocity
