That's right, if you've ever been camping or slept outside, you'll know that dew settles on everything (unless you are in the desert, of course). It is just the humidity in the atmosphere condensing as it cools.
There is a famous story in the Bible about a chap called Gideon (see Judges 6:36-40) who asks God to overnight put dew on a sheep's fleece only and not on the ground around, and then again the next night to put dew on everything but to keep the fleece dry. Of course God obliges him, on both occasions and this is an extra special miracle, although perhaps not as difficult to organise as parting the sea, I do admit.

Of course it does. Dew isn't generated by live grass. It's the condensation of moisture from the air onto a solid object. Fake grass will get as dewy as real grass in the same conditions.

Dew doesn't form on fake grass.
At night, leaves open their stomata, which are tiny openings. Through these tiny openings in plants, the water forms on the leaves.
If the grass is not living, it does not produce dew.
Hope this helps.
