I use those sensitive wipes because they are convenient. I find that cotton wool gets caught in my eyelashes ect. but it seems that my eyelashes are always falling out which means I can never really get all my mascara off fully, I it now making my eyelashes quite dry and brittle. the vaseline on the eyelashes trick doesn't seem to make too much of a difference

Anyone got any suggestions (other than "don't wear mascara")

thanks.

I used to use expensive eye make-up remover but then I learned about vaseline which works, but one day many years ago I was watching my grandma and she uses baby oil. Needless to say I have been using it everyday since. I put it on a cotton ball and rub it over my eyes. I don't get an fuzzies or stringers or anything in my eye. It works wonders for me. I do however rub a Q-Tip under my eye when I am done to make sure I got the excess under my eye.

I use Simple Conditioning Eye Make-up Remover - see link.
It gets off even waterproof mascara and it doesnt sting or anything and always completely gets it off with no rubbing!!!

I used to have that cotton wool issue too but I use the cotton wool pads now. Not ones with silly patterns on them though as I find they shred too.

How about cotton wool and eye makeup remover. Usually the lotion/liquid is soft in the cotton wool so it takes it off more gently compared to the wipes.

For any eye make-up that's not waterproof, try liquid Cetaphil. It can run high, so try Walgreen's instead or Walmart or any place that sells generic brands. It doesn't sting. Put some on, you can either use a wet cloth or a dry cloth. With it being make-up, I first would recommend using a wet cloth, it being your eyes.

You may love it enough to clean your face with it. I do, it REALLY deep cleans better than other stuff! For the rest of your face, I recommend dry cloth method, but you can use wet cloth if you prefer!

Good luck! :-)

get double-faced cotton wool pads from Boots and No7 eye make up remover lotion. it's hypo-allergenic and it contains a conditioner in it. still wear mascara, but don't wear a waterproof unless necessary, and if you use a non-animal tested brand such as No7 or Virgin Vie, you'll find them kinder to your eyes as they have been tested on people, therefore are safer for human use.

SOunds like u r usin waterproof mascara?? I've been there done that!
Suggestion: washable waterproof. won't run off when you yawn or cry, but will wash off easily when you want it too.
I use the one from Avon...not sure who else makes one.
Oh and try the cotton pads instead of the cotton balls, less fuzz.

u can go to boots or superdrug or somewhere like that and they usually have something in the miss sporty range wuite cheap too... its like a moisturiser and then just rub it over your eyes and use cotton wool round circles so that it doesnt clump up or even just a damp cloth like a flannel thats soft

Try using baby oil on a tissue, then gently wiping the lashes. This is effective, gentle, and also acts as a moisturizer.

Hope that helps.

when u taking ur massy off dont rub your eyes or ur lashes will fall out.
use ur wipes but gently when ur eyes are closed slide the wipe down the length of ur eyes n when u open them put wipe under ur top lash and blink.

Dont RUB u will end up with wrinkly eyes in later life.
