She seems to want to eat all day long. She drinks 4 oz and when she is finish with the bottle she kicks and screams for another (believe it or not) and im getting really concerned because I dont want her getting too stuffed and feeling misreable. What should I do at this point? Is anyone else 1 month like this. Or is she just going through a growth spurt?

I also forgot to mention that when she gets hungry she sucks on her fingers then she puts her fingers in her mouth and pull really hard. Seems to me like she has a little temper or something. And she eats every 2-3 hours but like i said before she wants to eat almost every hour. Is that normal or do I just have a really greedy princess?

Anna shes already on a pacifier and has been since about less than one week. My hubby and I call that her gold because she could not sleep without it.

Give her 5 oz instead of 4. She is most likely jsut going through a growth spurt. Babies will not eat more than they need at one sitting.

I dont know if the same is true for your daughter, but mine is also 1 minth old and had been acting like that. She would seem almost frantically hungry and do that thing with her hands too. Also, she would start not long after a feeding so I knew she couldn't be that starving! What it turned out to be was gas pains. She was having horrible gas pains and the only sensation she had known in her stomach was hunger, so when her stomach got upset she would want to eat to "fix" it. Unfortunately feeding her more would only make the problem worse. I started burping her more often, every 3 to 5 minutes during a feeding, and giving her gas drops before every feeding and it worked!! Like I said, I dont know if this might be the case for yours, but that was our experience. Good Luck!

My little girl was born 10/13 and she is the same way right now. She drank 6 oz of breastmilk every 2-3 hours yesterday. I'm guessing it's a growth spurt.

She's most likely just going through a growth spurt, try making her a 6oz bottle and see how much of it she eats then make that much from now on. Keep in mind that if she eats too much she'll just spit it up, which isn't going to hurt her in the least.

most babies will let you know when they are hungry...you should let them eat as much as they want as long as they do stop eventually.. if they dont they might have some type of medical problem..but your probably right that it is just a growth spurt so feeding her a little more won't hurt

Baby's need to suck for comfort try a pacifier. Are there any allergies in your family, you may want to try another formula, maybe she is having trouble digesting it. Or maaybe your baby is just a hungry bear, and love to eat. I think if she got to much food, she'd probably just throw the excess up.

If she is hungry try feeding her more and see if that helps her. Normally if a baby eats to much they will spit up,If it does not make her happy then I would talk to her doctor about maybe switching formula. Also is she burping well? She may be really gassy. Good luck..

Hi dont worry. She is just a hungry baby there is nothing wrong with that. Just a thought have you thought about changing her milk to something with a bit more in it, so she might not be so hungry. I would speak to her health visitor, she will recommend one. Dont worry yourself over it, I would be really worried if she WASNT eating.

Add one more ounce to the bottle. If that don't work talk to her doctor. She might not be getting full on 4 ounces.
