I am a Muslim I would be the first one to vote for a woman, yes the country elected Benazir Bhutto before sadly she proved to be the worst leader that Pakistan saw. You should not speak out of ignorance. You are so brainwashed. Every Pakistani woman that I talked to hates Benazir because she is the most corrupt leader that we ever saw. Please do not speak out of ignorance. She transferred 1.5 Billion dollars from the Pakistan treasury and her husband Zardari was a mafiaso. I am surprised that you all feel this way but not your fault the news is totally controlled by special interest groups in the USA.
The charges against Benazir Bhutto were proved also. Each Pakistani woman that I talked to hate her with a passion. Infact my friends were mad at Musharraf since he let her in the country.

They are all heros until they get into office and then they turn into George Bush and Tony Blair. The difference between Benazir Bhutto and General Musharraf is that one is in office. Bhutto is just using the myth of democracy as a campaign slogan.

Well seeing that her father Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was a convicted murderer and was hanged for his crimes and she and her husband have huge embezzlement and corruption charges against them. I seriously don't think so.
Don't you read the newspaper or are you blind to the truth ?
Those are facts so how can you imagine she is a hero ?

Her intentions are great, and she would seem to be an alternative to Musharrif, However. .
You have to remember that Pakistan is a muslim country. Muslims are very specific that Women are not to be leaders. . she would be weak based on that and probably short lived. . Why do you think she left her post the first time??
