Here's a neat trick:
Take a 5 gal. bucket fill it 2/3's full of water, now take a good scoop of bird seed and put it into the same bucket (the seed will float). Now take a 2 x 4 or a furring stick and put one end on the lip of the bucket and the other end on the ground.
The Voles,Moles,Mice,Ground squirrels or chipmunks will crawl up the stick, look inside the bucket and see all that seed. They'll jump in thinking it's all seed. Boy will they get a supprise. Because of the smooth sides, they won't be able to get out and they'll drowned.

I've had cats who would hunt moles. Admittedly, that's not practical everywhere.

Otherwise, there are traps you can use to catch them.

I like to put those traps into their holes, otherwise there are baits you can put into the tunnel to kill them,
