Are you saying you only want to be a fan of theirs if they win?

The only reason to still be an Orioles fan is so that you can say you have your team and stick with them no matter what. The fact that they are about to be lapped by the Rays is not good though. The fact that B-More used to be one of the best baseball cities in America and has faded into oblivion is not good either. Back in the day you couldn't get a ticket to a game at Camden Yards. Now when the Red Sox and Yankees come in, it's 2/3rds full of their fans. The Birds have a lot of links to 'roids too be it with current or former players. Jason Grimsely, David Segui, Rafael Palmerio, Jay Gibbons, Tejada's had rumors..they are truly a mess. Stick with them though, you're a loser if you all of a sudden become a Red Sox fan just because they're winning.

Yes, because you cheer for your team win or lose, that's what a true fan does. They need pitching really bad. I can remember when the O's were always in contention for division title in 70's, 80's & up to 1992 or 1993, last time the won World Series title. I remember when they had Davey Johnson as manager & turned team around & Peter Angelos fired him. In my opinion, as long as Angelos is in charge of the Orioles, I don't see them going to far anytime soon, sorry to say but they have some talent at hitting but without pitching, a team can only go so far.

Sure there is, there is hope for everyone...look at some of the teams to rise up after everyone said that they would never be competetive agains, The Rockies, THe Brewers are two great examples.

Baltimore just needs a change in philosiphy, you build a Championship team not buy it. Tejada may have been a bad investment, he has not really paid dividends to them in building a team around him. He is a great player but may be better off being a another guy ont he team rather than the guy on the team. Mora is not the great player everyone projected him to be, he is good but not great. They spent on pitching last year and ended up with a worse staff.

Eventually it will work out...KEEP THE FAITH!!!

Yes. TRUE fans are Oriole fans. I cant see why anyone who is a O's fan is a bandwagon. Unlike the Sox, Yankee, Cubs, Mets, Rockies, & Phillies.

Give him a couple of years and Matt Wieters will be your 1st baseman. He's currently in the Hawaiian league with Honolulu. He's 6'5' and 230 lbs and was Baltimore's 1st round pic in the July draft.

The team should have stayed in St. Louis, where they were loved and belong! The people in Baltimore are pathetic and don't deserve a baseball team - you're living proof!

Send the Ravens back to Cleveland while you're at it!
