There would be pros and cons if he ran. His money would enable him to compete with the two major parties and the
discontent out there would provide a lot of potential votes.
The downside is the difficulty of a third party movement
getting ballot access in many states and the built in bias
against deserting the traditional parties. Finally, the media
plays a key role. The media never addresses the issues,
rather they promote a horserace, meaning they always suggest that third parties are spoilers and that voting for them is a wasted vote.

Excellent idea. I think the American people deserve choices. I would also like to see Gore run for the Green Party and Sheehan run for the Peace & Freedom Party and Michael Moore run for the World Worker's Party.

And Barney the Dinosaur can run for the "Progressives."
