One of the solutions could be to move out since the longer distance you keep with such people, the better (at least not worse) relationship you have with them. If you have to live with them, get some pet. Remember, you do not HAVE TO, you CHOOSE TO live with people. You have to breath to live but you choose to live with people, so when you make this choice, you have to take responsibility and deal with them.

you do what I do...
always have your ipod on the highest volume
get your own room with a door and a lock
never buy food if you dont want them to steal it, or keep it locked or in your room...
be polite but be honest, if they are talking to much either block their noise look and nod, or just tell them you ar enot interested and they should stop buggin you
avoid eye contact or they will talk to you
have a book in hand... most people get the idea that if you are reading you souldnt be interrupted, however if you encounter my mom and she will talk to you no matter what again just have your ipod on and turn up the volume...
