What was the conflict& compromise of this? It was a conflict at first, but what was the compromise from this?

Any ideas on what I should put on two white boards for decorations that are related to this topic?

During the second world war, Australia had an internment camp for Japanese POW's and other Japanese persons. The camp was at Cowra. You could put 'cowra breakout' into a search engine and get some help.

I'm assuming you are referring to camps within the U. S. You really need to read about this for yourself. I'll include a link, to get you started.

"On February 19, 1942, soon after the beginning of World War II, Franklin D. Roosevelt signed Executive Order 9066. The evacuation order commenced the round-up of 120,000 Americans of Japanese heritage to one of 10 internment camps—officially called "relocation centers"—in California, Idaho, Utah, Arizona, Wyoming, Colorado, and Arkansas."

Some of the additional topics mentioned are:
"Why Were the Camps Established?"
"Conditions in the U.S. Camps"
"Legal Challenges to Internment"
"Government Apologies and Reparations"

A recollection from a child,
"...I remember my mother wrapping
A blanket around me and my
Pretending to fall asleep
so she would be happy
Though I was so excited I couldn't sleep.
(I hear there were people herded
Into the Hastings Park like cattle
Families were made to move in two hours
Abandoned everything, leaving pets
And possessions at gun point..."
