I want to set my ISP's website as my default homepage. How do I go about doing this?

I've been on the Internet for 10 years and I should know this by now but I don't.

it depends on which internet browser you are using.

If Internet Explorer or Firefox or any of them first go to the site you want to use as your default page. Then high light it and copy it using the Ctrl and the C button at the same time while the URL to that website is highlighted in blue indicating it has all been selected.

NEXT is where it varies depending on the browser. With Fireforx you go to tools and then options and the second option says home page. High light that all in blue by selecting it all and the use the ctrl and p button to past the Webaddress you copied just a minute ago and select OK.

With Internet Explorer it again varies slightly depending on your version. if you have the newest one then choose tools, and then internet options the first category is home page and you can paste the new URL in there in then select apply and Ok and exit out.

This is almost the same way with most versions of I.E. only the box looks more rectangular and not as tall as this one is.

IF you are using a MAC computer than I cannot be sure if this works the same way but I would imagine it is similiar!!

Good luck!!

Go to the top of the screen & select Tools, then Internet Options. Under the General tab you can type in what you want your homepage to be.

The simple things that we most often forget about! It's really simple:

FireFox: Tools > Options > Click on the Main Button(First icon top left) > enter the address of the site you want in the address box and click OK at the bottom

Internet Explorer: Tools> Internet Options> enter the address of the site you want in the address box and click OK at the bottom

All done!
Hope this helps!

If you're using firefox, just go to the ISP's website and drag the favicon (little icon next to the url) to the Home button.

On IE, Tools > Internet Options.

Firefox is way better though. ;) http://getfirefox.com/

When you're on the page you want to use as your homepage, there's a button you can click at the to right that says 'add or change home page'. or in internet options in the control panel, you can type one in manually.
