On one msn account I get loads of emails, spam ones that are totally useless. I get on average about 40 a day. I use this as a personal account and have another account for emails, which id rather all emails go to, even spam. On other accounts I dont get them, is there anyway to stop it? Or do I just have to deal with it?

Ditto 10MinutesMax, above (give him your points!)

Sounds like, somewhere online, your email address fell into a permanent online file, like, say, a website?

"Spambots" crawl website files looking for anything that looks like an email address, then collect addresses into a list, and forever send spam there once they find the address doesn't get rejected.

If you're reasonably sure this is what happened, you COULD start fresh, by getting rid of that msn account, starting a new one, and making blamed sure the new one ever gets published ever ever again.

You have to deal with it. There are some settings in Hotmail that enable you to change the level of spam protection that you have. On one of my accounts, I only allow emails from people in my contact book to come in; all others are sent to spam. You can play with those settings or another trick that used to work for me was to forward my Hotmail to a Gmail account which has way better spam protection than Hotmail. This way you don't lose your email address and cut down on the spam.

This happens to me too; I spam them.

Set up as many filters as you can to redirect them to junk mail/trash or just outright delete them.
