Yes I have. Actually I'm almost finished..I only have 2 more people to get for, plus I'm waiting for my local store to put up there Angel Tree...so that I can pick a child to get gifts for. Me & my hubby don't have children, so each year we look forward to the child that we get to purchase for from the Angel Tree!

I started and I'm half way done.
An Old Man's Christmas Rules.
1) Do Not buy Christmas Decorations or Presents before Halloween, it's a sin.
2) Buy all presents, or as many as you can between Halloween and Thanksgiving. Shopping after Thanksgiving is too much trouble and takes the joy out of Christmas.
3) Christmas Decorations may be put up only after Thanksgiving and must be down before New Years Day. For retail shops, decorations may go up after Halloween but not before.
4) Remember that Christmas is about the birth of Jesus. This one is really Rule #1.

I normally start my Christmas shopping the weekend after Halloween to get it done early but it's just not the same as shopping closer to Christmas. I like when the stores and mall are all decorated and Christmas is in the air because then it's more fun to shop and puts me in the holiday spirit.

I start my Christmas shopping each January, when most stores slash prices and I can get great deals. I have had most of it done since July. I am completely finished with all shopping except for my father and my father-in-law, and I already know that my husband and I are buying them both digital photo frames when we find a good price.
I have 3 sisters, 2 sisters-in-law, and mom and mom-in-law and lots of girlfriends to buy for, so I shop January to July for them. Most Semi-Annual sales are in those two months... Bath & Body Works, Victoria's Secret, Yankee Candle Company... all favorites of the women I know and shop for.
I also shop at the party stores early in the year for out-of-season stuff... last year I got $120 worth of cards, bags, bows, platters, etc. for $23. I found 3 rolls of cute, sturdy wrapping paper at Old Navy for $1.25 for all 3, originally $8.50.
All in all, I have saved 50-80% on nearly all of the gifts we are giving this year. I plan on doing the same thing next year and every year after. You never know when you will find the perfect gift for someone.

I have finished all of my shopping and have everything wrapped. We still have to make bows for the packages, we will start that tonight. I'm sure I will pick up a few more things for my son, husband and mother. I seem to continue to find things after I am done. Merry Christmas!!!!

I in many cases get a prior due start up and rush by using it. This year i would be in Germany for the 1st 2 weeks of December. i began out my procuring final month and that i'm only approximately complete! It feels truly sturdy understanding that i would be baking, adorning and travelling, the two weeks previously Christmas, no longer procuring!
