I read that the Angels and Giants cannot afford him as easily as some people think. I read that one of those teams will be a payor instead of a payee with revenue in the future and the other is hamstrung with the Zito contract. Only Boris and Payrod know. Except maybe for Jesus and I ain't Him.

Nobody knows for sure except for Scott Boris, but I'm guessing he ends up with the LA Dodgers.
There are very few teams that can afford him -
Yankees (they will never sign him)
Mets
Red Sox
LA Dodgers
LA Angels of Anaheim
SF Giants
Cubs
Maybe St. Louis can afford him....?

He has shown intrest in the red sox (of course) or possibly the dodgers which means he would be back with Torre.

he'll lower his price right before spring training..or well into spring training and end up either with the angels or the dodgers. long shot will be the giants.
