My heart goes to Sara. Her life has change forever, what a nightmare she is living. Hope she has lots of friends to help her along and not let her live this alone, it is too hard.
A uncle that we all love so very much for he was a great guy. This happened 20 years ago and we still miss him, I think we always will.

My dad shot himself in the head and died, on purpose.
He hurt me worse than I've ever hurt before in my life.
I guess he thought it was the only way, if he felt mental pain and depression w/o any relief at all, I can only try to understand why he went. But what I don't understand is that he shot a round off into the cealing first and missed and then reaproached....

I am so sorry for your friend. Please help her get through this. I hope she doesn't blame herself for what has happened. I've known people who have tried and some who have succeeded. It's really hard regardless of whether or not they were successful. How can someone be so desperate to do something like that and other people not notice?

Yes! This guy who I was in a work experience program with committed suicide back in 2003. I couldn't believe it! I never thought he would be one to do something like that!

My aunt decided she hated her husband and kids and instead on getting a simple divorce she put a gun to the side of her head and killed herself right infront of her kids (3.5 months, 2, 3 and 11)and her husband me. My friend also commited sucide and another friend of mine tried to but failed.

That is SO sad! Poor Sara! I am really surprised yahoo didn't delete your Q, though. My husband's uncle committed suicide. No one had a clue he was unhappy.

my mum has tried before.
she suffers depression and my friends dad hung himself a few months before chistmas 6 years ago.
it is an awful thing to experience
all you can do is be there for your friend

I tried taking my life twice. At that moment i really really wanted to die. I was so desperate to die i asked God to kill me. Thank him that i didn't found such a sharp blade. I wouldn't be here today. Now i just want to live until i am 210.
