I went to my ten year last august.
I would highly recommend that you go.
THere was 29 out of 165 that showed up, It was a barbecue at a park, THey had one the night before at a bar but i did not go to that one.
Like everybody that i talked to (about 70% of them) seemed cool. Some people looked exactly the same while others had aged quite some, gained weight, etc. Mainly the chicks that had gained the weight, but not all of them some of them looked even better than i remembered them.
It was better than i expected it to be, Considering i was a total loser in high school, low gpa, no sports, limited amount of friends.
A few i think were stretching the truth about wha they had done, Like Oh i've been to italy, france, africa, that kind of BS.
I just told them the truth i work at a department store and it sucks.
Cause unlike high school"you can leave if you don't like it"

I haven't been to a high school reunion yet. However, my 10 year reunion is coming up in two years. I don't know what to expect...I only know what other people have told me. I'm curious about people I haven't seen for awhile, so I plan on going.

It's pretty cool, actually! It's great to go with a bud. That way, you can take bets on who you think is pushin' 3 bills after high school, who was ugly, but turned out to be the bomb in the reunion, reconnect with former buds, etc.
Oh, mine had free beer!!!:)
The only crappy part was I was basically the ONLY black guy in my graduating class, so EVERYONE knew who I was when I came in...

It's actually a lot of fun. You get to see all the snobby kids that you used to hate and now their all fat and ugly and living in a trailer park with 6 kids. It really makes you feel avenged. lol

It was even better than I expected. I changed so much that no one knew who I was and when they found out they dropped their jaws. I was a fat kid...they had no idea what a bombshell I would turn into.

I'd never go even if there was one. I'd only be tempted by seeing who got old and fat so that's just nasty. LOL
