Are you doing something wrong?

YES -- by using MySpace for Adsense. Adsense does not work with MySpace because it is javascript, and javascript cannot run on MySpace. That's why you're not earning anything. Plus putting Adsense on your MySpace is a violation of the terms of service of Myspace for using your profile for commercial use.

Adsense really pays -- I've been with them since June 2003.

It pays out...heh, heh... After about 2.5 years, I've earned $3.14

You have to get traffic. There's the rub. You have to get people to visit YOUR website, and THEN they will be able to click those ads and garner you some bucks, because the only way you earn a penny is if somebody clicks an ad from your website to one of the advertised websites shown on your website.

So the deal is, you have to do every little thing possible to attract visitors to your website! Search Engine Optimization (SEO they call it) and all that garbage. Make your website purdy and easy to use, and get it linked by other high traffic websites, so's folks will get to you and THEN click out and go to the sites you advertise.

Good luck, pard.

They work. I used to run a website and made about $50 US in about four months. You need A LOT of traffic who actually click on the ads. Your not going to make much unless you get around 1000 - 2000 hits a day to your site..

The ads are for a little extra money on the side your not going to live off them. If you want to make money from ads you would need to contact a company and offer them some sort of a deal.

You can't put your adsense ads on your profile. You have to put them on an actual webpage. Adsense will give you a javascript code that you put on your page and every time somebody legitly clicks on your ad you will make a small amount of money. If you don't have a major website it really isn't worth it.

People have to click on the ad for you to earn money. Just looking at the website doesn't work...
