How many of you pierced your daughters ears? how old was she, and how did she handle it.

I don't have kids. But I pierced mine when i was 10.My mom thought it was a good first "double digit" birthday gift.I didn't cry or anything but i was nervous at first and then it was over just like that ,but i guess it kinda hurt when i first took them off, I had my mom help me.LOL.

I pierced my little girls ears when she was ten months old. She took it well. It worked out really good too. I never had a problem with her messing with them or anything. My other daughter is now 11 and a half months and I am getting her ears pierced for her first birthday. I think if they choose to not wear earrings when they get older thats fine. But they always have that option. And most little girls want them one time or another.

I have 2 daughters, we pierced our youngest daughter's ears when she was still 3 mos. old. She cried for 10 seconds & after that she was ok

I got my ears pierced when I was about 5. Strangely I remember it I was kinda scared but it didn't hurt and I was happy I got them pierced. the only reason my mom took me to get them Peirce is because one day I decided I wanted pierced ears like my sisters so I tried to Pierce them myself lol. (I was an odd little kid)...>.>

my mom let me pierce my ears when I was old enough to take care of them. I was 12 at the time. I asked to have them pierced because she made me get braces for my teeth. Good trade I thought.
i don't think it is right to pierce an infant or other small child until they are old enough to make the decision for themselves.

Well I don't have kids, but my little sister got her ears pierced when she was a baby. Her dad wanted it done. I'm not sure how she handled it, I was only 4.

I got mine pierced when I was young. Not too sure how young but about 3-4 months old?

My parents took me to get my ears pierced when I was about 2 1/2. They said I cried one big crocodile tear and then it was all over. No big deal.

My mom had mine pierced a couple weeks after birth. It is sooner, and it won't make the kid remember in the future. The earlier, the better, so they won't rememeber, unless they don't want to have it pierced. Their opinion matters too.

My younger sister had her ears pierced when she was 2. She didn't really cry or anything. She got the instant one.
