Look at the stuff that goes on. Does this desentize women in thinking that it is normal? Should they outlaw soaps?

outlawing soaps isn't gonna happen i don't think, but i think subconsiously it does kinda solidify thought that women might have of men. not all women of course but soe of them. it's like if a mom were to tell her daughter all her life that men are dogs, and then one days she meets the perfect man, she will find or dig for something ot be wrong with him to kinda make the statement true. so yeah, some soaps solidify some thoughts in women that men are cheaters or liars and the such and seeing how the women act on those shows does kinda of give them ideas. (this is just a generalization, not all women are like this, just speaking from experience with my friedns that are girls)

I don't think soaps are smart enough to cause someone to be 'devious' - that implies a certain level of intelligence and forethought. Soaps are pretty much nothing but mind numbing drivel.

No... when I used to watch them it didn't make me any of those things... maybe a little psycho about making sure i saw them every day... other than that, no.
The question SHOULD be... "Should they outlaw stupid TV?" The answer to that is "yes" and, looking at how much STUPIDITY is on TV these days, I think we should just outlaw TV all together... hehe.
