I live in the Netherlands ...Which is a Kingdom ( actually Queendom), A few years ago there was a Royal Wedding.
On occasions like that the Queen awards various commendations ( basically Big medals on big Ribbons).
Usually to Politicians and other people prominently in the
public life.
She also awards a certain amount to anonymously nominated individuals ( by 2 independently operating others ) , the nominees are then investigated secretly to see if they have been sufficiently nice, heroic, ...whatever to receive this honor.
I got one ....pretty rare...I don't know who nominated me or whatfor, cause they never tell ( I do have suspicions ).
On the Minus side, I am also a staunch republican in the sense that I feel the monarchy ought to be abolished.
But refusing a royal commendation is unthinkable, so I keep
very quiet about it around some of my other republican friends, I've never actually worn the thing yet.

I have natural intelligence. I am able to take exams, do quizzes, and sail through interviews without really knowing what I'm doing.
I know it sounds big headed and you probably think im lying but i dont care!
Its not all good though i have no common sense so i do silly things without thinking too!

Hmm ...
Ok, I got one.

I saved three children from a runaway van. The parking brake somehow disengaged and the van started rolling towards traffic.

I can tie my own shoes and I wear big boy pants.
But I'm not supposed to tell anyone in public because last time I did, three mean girl scouts took my bus fare :(

I'm related to:
President William H. Taft (yes, American president 1909-1913)

Mary Queen of Scots

King Harold of England, and his son (no duh), the Earl of Goldwyn

Best part is, I'm the happiest person you'll ever meet because I met my demons head on and won the battle.

Have a great life.

I am actually very intelligent. I have a great ability at math and science.

I like to hide it though, that way noone expects much.
